What is WRT Form 1?
Form WRT 1 is the official application form for foreign-owned companies to apply for a Wholesale, Retail & Trade (WRT) or Unregulated Services Sector (USS) license from the Ministry of Domestic Trade.

Application checklist
Applicants must complete the following before they can properly fill and submit the form:
- Incorporated a Malaysian company
- Finalised paid-up capital injection (must include 6 months of company bank statements)
- Determined their distributive trade / service category
- Secured a suitable business premise
- Appointed a liaison
- Planned local / foreign manpower and shareholding structures
- Prepared an application letter with company background
- Registered with LHDN, KWSP, and SOCSO
- Taken colour photos of business premise, services, and products
